  By writing this review it means I have lost loved ones, Julia is one of the nicest most caring people I have met. Some people might try to take advantage of you at a time like this, the folks at Crippen funeral home are not that way. They are very respectful and helpful. I am thankful to have people like this to work with in unfortunate circumstances.

  I am 78 years old and living in Oregon with family. I just got off the phone with Samantha at Crippin. I am pre-arranging a cremation for my step brother, Donald, who is in Colorow (up in Olathe). When the time comes, Donald will be cremated and his remains sent to Oregon so his family can have him buried with his dad. Samantha explained the whole process to me and is sending me all the forms and instructions necessary to set this up. Samantha is quite knowledgeable and, most importantly, she demonstrates the kindness and empathy required in her job Crippin, you have another great asset in Samantha!

  When my father died unexpectedly and we had to handle his services on short notice, Julia Crippin at Crippin Funeral Home helped our family immensely. I never appreciated the importance of having a conscientious, caring funeral home to help a family through an emotionally and logistically challenging time until we needed it. They worked with another funeral home out of state to transfer my father's remains to the Montrose/Telluride area, where he wanted to be buried, and then they worked with the cemetery to handle all the arrangements. I am very glad our family could rely on Crippin during such a difficult week.
